Course reserves to the quality of training and research in higher education in Vietnam

Abstract

    Course reserves along with learning materials is a main/core information source at universities. It is a facility at a library that provides sufficient materials for study and research. This paper touch upon concepts, roles and existing situations of databases and courses material collection development at universities in Vietnam. The writing also proposes practical solutions to design and develop course reserves and learning materials at universities, to form a data linkage network among universities with the same industry, and towards developing a national academic information network.
