Some legal aspects of usufruct right established by law in Vietnamese law

Abstract

The 2015 Civil Code recognizes and regulates the usufruct right as a very progressive new point. However, the current regulations on usufruct right in this Code still have many shortcomings and are not really consistent with reality. Among them, there is ambiguity about the subject of usufruct right and the scope of entitlement of this right in case it is established by law. The article will clarify some legal aspects about the subject and the scope of entitlement to the statutory usufruct right.
