It is the fact that learners’ motivation plays a significant role in the success of second language teaching in general and in the E-learning project and Learn at Vietnam-Germany college of Nghe An (VDC) in particular. Learners’ motivation, however, is a complex and multifaceted construct. As a result, this study is conducted to explore the main body of literature on learners’ motivation in the context of blendedlearning. It also aims to discuss the different types of motivation, some factors that affect learners’ motivation; accordingly, the writers suggest some solutions in order to generate and maintain motivation for non-English majored students in the E-learning project and Learn at Vietnam-Germany college of Nghe An (VDC).
