Abstract
Due to the adaption for the development of Vietnam’s education system nowadays, teachers are required to study continuously to develop their own professional competences. One of the essential factors is the innovation of teaching methods towards ctive teaching. In another word, the innovation here is to shift the focus of teaching from knowledge acquisition to knowledge construction, with the central position being the learners. This article will propose a process and design some teaching situations for the chapter “Data and empirical probability grade 6” according to the social constructivist theory to develop students’ ability to learn mathematics more effectively.
