Abstract

Learning English vocabulary systematically is an important factor to improve English language skills comprehensively. For most students who are not English majors, learning English in general and learning English vocabulary in particular is not without difficulties. There are many methods and many studies conducted in the field of vocabulary learning. Therefore, learners can choose vocabulary learning methods that are suitable for them. English teachers should pay more attention to introducing students to the diversity of vocabulary learning strategies. For that purpose, this article introduces the method of learning English vocabulary using mind maps. This is an effective and easy-to-apply method for students at Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment.
