Abstract

Using active teaching methods is one of the prerequisites to improve the quality of teaching Economics and law education at high schools in Dong Ha city, Quang Tri province. This is also the foundation of teaching to develop students’ qualities and abilities as directed by the 2018 Highschool Education Program. This study initially clarifies the concept and the role of active teaching methods in teaching Economics and law education; presents the current status of employing active teaching methods in teaching the subject for grade 10 in Dong Ha city, Quang Tri province; and provides some suggestions to improve its effectiveness.
