Abstract
In the context of natural Science instruction, experimental tasks are a variety of assignments that call on students to use both their physical and mental faculties to acquire and apply knowledge. We propose the process of creating and utilizing experimental tasks in teaching to support the growth of students’ natural science ability, providing some examples of using tasks in the stages of the procedure. Our research into experimental tasks and practice in teaching “light refraction” in secondary school led us to this proposal.
