Research on conservation and teaching of Khen Mong craft making on Dong Van stone plateau, Ha Giang province

Abstract

Many years have passed, the conservation and preservation of the beauty of the Khen tree of the Mong people has been paid attention to by Ha Giang authorities at all levels. Classes for singing Mong ethnic folk songs and classes for making and dancing Mong Khen were born. With the hope that through these classes, Mong ethnic children will not only learn more about the history and value of the Khen tree. Besides, they also know how to make and play the flute, contributing to preserving the cultural identity of their people.
