Abstract

This article evaluates "Oxford EAP: A course in English for Academic Purposes," highlighting a lack of authenticity in its depiction of the academic experience. Despite its strengths in lecture length and note-taking exercises, the coursebook requires improvement. Recommendations are given to enhance authenticity, including adjustments to language, structure, and note-taking application.
