CURRENT SITUATION AND SOLUTIONS FOR TEACHING ENGLISH FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES FOR STUDENTS OF GEOGRAPHY TEACHER EDUCATION, AN GIANG UNIVERSITY

Abstract

English for specific purposes is a compulsory subject in the Geography Teacher Education
program at An Giang University. Besides the advantages, teaching and learning English for specific
purposes also faces many difficulties. Therefore, to make teaching English for specific purposes more
effective, solutions are needed for three groups of subjects: students, lecturers and educational institutions.
