ABSTRACT
Life skills education in general and self - protection skills education in particular for primary school
pupils play an extremely important role in contributing to the formation and comprehensive development
of personality for primary school pupils. Over the past time, primary schools in Cau Giay District have
implemented many activities in order to teach self - protection skills for pupils and have obtained certain
results, but besides that, there are still some limitations and shortcomings. The synchronous and systematic
development and application of experiential methods of self - protection skills education for pupils has been
identified as an important innovation direction to improve the quality and effectiveness of comprehensive
education in primary schools in Cau Giay district, Hanoi city, meeting the requirements of education reform
in the spirit of Resolution 29/NQ-TW.
