ABSTRACT
The article presented the basic theories on the training and retraining of Customs officers and the
factors affecting the training and retraining of Customs officers, focusing on analyzing and making
assessments on the current situation. Training and fostering staff at the Anti - Smuggling Investigation
Department - General Department of Customs. From there, some recommendations are made to improve
the training of officers at the Anti-Smuggling and Investigation Department - General Department of
Customs. The object of the research is to determine the training and retraining needs of cadres; Objectives
and subjects of training and retraining of cadres; Developing training and retraining programs for staff;
