ABSTRACT
Problem solving situations competency is considered as one of student’s general competence that have
importan role in of taking shape, developing for student necessary skills and help students good solving
prolems by themselves. Therefore, in the history teaching process at high school, the teacher need to apply
of some pedagogic measures rationaly to developing student’s problem solving situations competency.
Especially, it involve skills of detecting problems; making plans, implement plans, etc. so that learniners
can accomplish the assigned studing missions well and contribute to the quality of teaching history at high
school in accordance with orientation of fundamental, comprehensive education reform in Vietnam today.
