ABSTRACT
Environmental issues are identified as of global scale. Environmental education is a an important content
in the curriculum of many high schools. Physics knowledge is associated with the movement of the natural
world. Teachers,therefore,may integrate this content the teaching process, or can organize experiential
activities for students. This may help students have opportunities to apply their knowledge in practice and
improve their own compentence. However, implementing the methods into teaching still has many difficulties.
In this paper, some general issues will be presented and some orientations in organizing the content of
Environmental Protection Education in Physics teaching based on improving students’ compentence will be
established.
