ABSTRACT
According to the 2018 General Education program, sex education contentis implemented for students
from early on in grade 1. Therefore, the preparation of materials which ensures the scientific and educational
character to teach sex education for grade 1 students plays an important role in the success of the teaching
process. This research conducted a survey of 126 teachers at 17 primary schools in District 1, Ho Chi Minh
city to find out about the current situation of teaching and using teaching materials for teaching education
for grade 1 students.
