ABSTRACT
Practical and experiential activities are considered as one of the highlights of the general education
program 2018 and the subject programs. Practical and experiences activities initially determine one's
own capacity and forte in order to orient and choose a career; creating several basic competencies for
future workers and responsible citizens. On the basis of the core contents of classical experiential learning,
experiential learning models and theories, the article has presented the process for designing and organizing
practical and experiential activities, proposing some suggestions in the design and organization of practical
and experiential activities in teaching grade 1 Mathematics subject at primary school.
