Abstract
Using routine research methods in
Sports and Physical Training, the article evaluated
the current status of strength and speed training
for male soccer athletes aged 14-15 at the Ministry
of Public Security’s youth soccer athlete training
center. The results show that there are still some
limitations in training such as: Strength and speed
training has not been given due attention, the time
spent developing speed and strength is relatively
short; Exercises used to develop strength and
speed in training lack variety, are not appropriate,
scientific, and do not create a feeling of excitement
for athletes.
