Abstract

Attending events, sports tourists including
athletes, coaching boards, athletes' families,
event organizers, fans, attendents in the event,
and people watching the event. They use travel
and hospitality services and can participate in
many other tourism activities such as to explore
nature and culture of the destination before and
after the event. Sports tourism in Vietnam has only
recently been developed, in which sports event
tourism is showing a clear growth trend in
Vietnam. Since, formed the need to use tourism
products and services. Some results of a initial
study on the market demand for sports event
products and services have been implemented
within the framework of research projects
"Research on tourism development associated
with sport events in Vietnam".
