Abstract

Problem solving competency is one of the most important competencies of learners. This competency must be gradually developed at educational levels and in all subjects. In chemistry teaching, designing and using differentiation exercises are curcial activity, initiative and creativity could be positively promoted from solving these differentiation exercises. The article not only presented the overview of basic theories of problem solving competency and differentiating exercises but also established the processes of designing and using differentiation exercises, we e differentiation exercises of saturated hydrocarbon chapter (11th grade chemistry)..
