EXPERIENTIAL TEACHING IN HIGH SCHOOL APPLYING FROM THE EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING MODEL OF KOLB, D.A

Abstract

Experiential teaching is an innovative and creative teaching method which is widely applied today. In fact, this modern teaching method is applied by schools via experiential learning activities to encourage students to participate in discovery activities, which help students receive knowledge positively and proactively. However, to apply this modern teaching method, it is necessary to understand its nature and the scientific perspective. Applying the experiential learning model of Kolb, D.A, together with the scientific learning cycle, to run effectively a series of goal-oriented actions in experiential teaching and learning will effectively help teachers in their implementation.
