HUMAN RIGHTS EDUCATION: JAPAN'S EXPERIENCE AND SOME SUGGESTIONS FOR VIETNAM

Abstract

Human rights education has always been of deep concern to the international community, especially in the last two decades. At the national level, human rights education has also become part of the education curriculum in many countries, although there are differences in scope, level of independence and how it operates. The article focuses on human rights regulations under Japanese law in particular and human rights education activities in Japan in general. At the same time, it provides an overview of human rights education activities in Vietnam today, thereby proposing solutions to improve the effectiveness of human rights education in Vietnam in the context of international integration.
