Abstract

With the data derived from measurement scales of the previous three-year study on managing administrative official staff in Vietnamese regional universities, in this research, we executed variable changes, proposed a suppositious model and carried out analyses with a view to shedding light on the interrelation of the aforementioned management work and the connection between such staff and those universities. The EFA (Exploratory Factor Analysis) results identified totally seven factors of influence on the Management of administrative official staff in regional universities in Vietnam and two factors affecting the Connection between administrative official staff and regional universities. Regression Analysis was also carried out. The results have showed that there are only two factors left that significantly influence the connection between administrative official staff and regional universities, which are Participation in management, opportunities for occupational development and Setting up a plan for occupational development. Given the research results obtained, some solutions were suggested in an attempt to improve the management of administrative official staff and enhance the connection between such staff and regional universities in Vietnam.
