Abstract

In this article we consider the empirical results of studying on the characteristics of the social - psychological value of Vietnamese students in Russia. During the study, we used two methods by B. Bass and O.F. Potemkin to explore the students' main personality orientation and characteristics of social - psychological value based on their gender. The result of this study shows that the orientation in work accounts for the highest percentage in comparison with other ones; male’s powerful values dominate the female ones; there is a correlation between social - psychological values. Based on the results of this study, we propose methods of practical psychological education, aiming at the immediate help for beginners to quickly adapt to life and learning environments in the Russian Federation
