Abstract

This article focuses on analyzing theoretical and practical issues in the management of literature teaching oriented towards competency development in secondary schools in Vietnam. Competency-based teaching management plays a crucial role in educational reform, aiming not only to impart knowledge but also help students develop critical thinking, language, and creativity skills. However, the current implementation faces many challenges, such as inconsistency in the curriculum, lack of resources and supporting tools, a limit in teaching methods, and multi-abilities among students abilities. The article proposes solutions including the innovation of teaching methods, teacher training, the development of learning materials, and enhanced collaboration between teachers and parents to improve the effectiveness of competency-based literature teaching management.
