MANAGEMENT MEASURES FOR TEACHING ACTIVITIES OF THE LITERATURE SUBJECT AT HIGH SCHOOLS IN CHAMPASAK, CHAMPASAK, LAOS
Abstract
Based on the systemisation of theoretical issues related to the management of teaching activities in Literature at high schools, the study conducted a survey to assess the current situation by collecting data from 200 participants. From the findings, the study proposed six measures to improve the effectiveness of managing Literature teaching activities at high schools in Champasak District, Champasak Province, Laos. These recommendations include: Enhancing the understanding of administrators and teachers regarding the importance of Literature teaching; Organizing professional development for Literature teachers; Innovating Literature teaching methods to focus on student competency development; Improving physical conditions and teaching equipment for Literature; Reforming assessment and evaluation of student learning outcomes; and Strengthening the supervision of student learning activities.
