ANALYSIS OF FACTORS AFFECTING THE RESULTS OF STUDENT ONLINE LEARNING IN DONG NAI
Abstract
This study analyses the factors influencing online learning outcomes of university students in Dong Nai, Vietnam. Using quantitative methods with a research sample of 300 students from 5 universities and colleges in the province, the results show four main factors having significant impacts: technological infrastructure and digital skills (β = 0.314), quality of content and online teaching methods (β = 0.301), interaction and learning support (β = 0.190), as well as students' motivation and self-learning skills (β = 0.142). Based on these findings, the study proposes four main solutions: upgrading technological infrastructure, improving content quality and teaching methods, enhancing interaction and learning support, and developing students' motivation and self-learning skills. The research contributes to clarifying the factors influencing online learning in the specific context of a developing province in Vietnam, thereby providing a scientific basis for policy formulation and strategy development in online higher education. The study provides a comprehensive view of the factors affecting online learning outcomes of university students in Dong Nai and suggests specific solutions to improve learning effectiveness, which can be potentially extended to other localities nationwide.
