Abstract

The article presents the measurement results of the graduates’ job requirements satisfaction of the teacher training majors at Dong Thap University in the period 2017-2021. The survey data used in this study is the evaluations by 201 superintendents in preschools, elementary, middle, and high schools. Three main factors are considered for the evaluations, namely (1) soft skills, (2) professional skills and (3) work attitudes of graduates. The results showed that most employers have evaluated graduates’ skills and working attitudes at good and very good levels for meeting the job requirements. However, some employers still assessed their work skills and attitudes as only partially satisfying job requirements. In addition, those graduates working at high schools scored an average level higher than ones working at preschools.
