CONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF DINH YEN MATTRESS WEAVING VILLAGES FOR TOURISM ACTIVITIES

Abstract

Dinh Yen mattress weaving villagenot only plays a significant role in creating jobs and incomes for local people but also bears local cultural values and socio-economic efficiency. This paper mainly presents values of such craft villages, the current reality of conserving and developing Dinh Yen mattress weaving village for local tourism activities. Thereby, some solutions for the village improvement have been proposed to develop tourism activities in Lap Vo district in particular and Dong Thap Province in general.
