BUILDING ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE OF THE VIETNAM WOMEN’S UNION

Abstract

The paper is written based on the research results of the ministerial-level scientific
project “Research on Building Organizational Culture of the Vietnam Women’s Union”. The
research is conducted to build an organisational culture for the Vietnam Women’s Union in
the coming time. Based on secondary data collection methods and advice from the Digital
Transformation Strategy Institute, Vietnam Digital Communications Association, the
research team’s goal is to build three significant value systems: core value system, symbolic
system, and conventional system. The article clarifies and defines the nature of each value
system, answering the following questions: What does each value system include? And what are
these value systems used for? The research results are the basis for proposing an organizational
culture model with six groups of fundamental elements for the Vietnam Women’s Union
(pioneering, solidarity, humanity, creativity, aspiration, and development).
