Abstract

Over the past years, ofcials and soldiers in general and the army youth in particular, have well grasped and identifed prevention of natural disasters and epidemics as the combat duty of army in times of peace, actively propagate and participate in the prevention and overcoming of consequences of natural disasters and epidemics in the area where they are stationed, and focus on training and developing knowledge, building affection and trust, training students’ willpower on this issue. Te practice of preventing and overcoming the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic over the past time has shown that thousands of young army men have directly participated in effective epidemic prevention, being supported by Party commitees, commanders at all levels, and the people. noted, greatly appreciated. Therefore, promoting the role of the Vietnamese people’s army youth in preventing and combating natural disasters, epidemics, and responding to climate change has a very important position and role, contributing to cultivating and deepening the tradition of the heroic Vietnamese people’s army. Within the scope of this article, the author’s analysis of the actual situation of activities and results that the military youth have done to propose solutions to more effectively promote the role of military youth. Vietnamese people in the performance of peacetime combat tasks, specifcally in the prevention and control of natural disasters, epidemics, and response to climate change.
