VAI TRÒ CỦA NHÀ NƯỚC TRONG GIẢM THIỂU BẤT BÌNH ĐẲNG VỀ CƠ HỘI GIÁO DỤC Ở VIỆT NAM

Abstract

In recent years, inequality has become the central topic of many socio-economic forums because of the negative impact of inequality on development. Among the research topics on inequality, inequality in education has atracted the atention of many scholars fom many different research felds. Trough analysis and synthesis of documents and data on inequality in education in Vietnam and fom the perspective of philosophy, the article examines the role of the State in assuring equality of educational opportunity. Tis article discusses two main contents: (1) the implementation of the State’s role in reducing inequality of educational opportunities; (2) some recommendations to help improve the State’s performance in efforts
to reduce inequalities of educational opportunities in Vietnam today. Te article is the result of the grassroots scientifc research project "Equality in education between mountainous areas and plains in Vietnam today" (Code: CS.2021.14) of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi National University.
