Current status of Vietnamese law on personal data protection in the integration period

Abstract

The article focuses on analyzing the current status of Vietnamese legal regulations on personal data protection, specifically: Assessment of general regulations on personal data; regulations on the rights and obligations of subjects related to personal data; methods to protect personal data in accordance with current Vietnamese law... Through studying the draft Decree regulating personal data protection and referencing the legal documents of some countries that already have the Law on Personal Data Protection, the author proposes some solutions to complete the legal regulations on personal data in Vietnam.
