Discuss the basis of criminal liability

Abstract

One of the important issues in criminal law is the basic of criminal liability. Its purpose is to clarify the legal grounds so that the State (through persons or procedure- conducting agencies) can force individuals or commercial entities to be criminally responsible and impose on them sanctions that limit or deprive them of their rights and interests. The correct perception of the basis of criminal liability helps to ensure a sufficient basis for the criminal prosecution; ensure criminal prosecution of the right person, the right crime, avoid omitting criminals and unjustly harming innocent people.
