Studying on legal nature and characteristics of ownership rights

Abstract

The article reviews the legal nature of ownership rights from two viewpoints (1) it    is a natural human right and (2) it is the power that society gives to the owner. Thereby, the author identifies its four characteristics comprise (i) it is the subject’s power over  his own property; (ii) it contains both real rights and claim rights elements; (iii) it is restricted only by the owners’ will or by law; (iv) it has continuity.
