Viewpoints on corruption in international anti-corruption Conventions in comparison with Vietnamese laws

Abstract

In order to effectively prevent and fight against corruption crimes, Vietnam has acceded to two international anti-corruption conventions namely the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (CTOC) and the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC). The article will clarify corruption’s views under the provisions of CTOC and UNCAC as well as compare with Vietnamese laws to provide the author's opinion on corruption.
