Abstract

This article clarifies theoretical matters on the institution of exercising the prosecution rights; its establishment and development in Vietnamese criminal procedures from 1945 up to now; reviews its limitations in current criminal procedures. At the same time, orientations and proposals to perfect that institution to meet the requirements of judicial reform are presented also.
