Abstract

Private rights of victims under 18 years of age in criminal procedures

It has been significantly important in protecting private rights of victims under 18 years of age as it protects their dignity, life, safety, recover and community integration ability. However, in reality, that private rights of victims under 18 years of age are easily violated, especially in current era of information explosion once again accidentally infringes the victims. This paper studies on victims under 18 years of age, regulations on the private rights and the protections of private rights of victims under 18 years of age prescribed in international laws and some Vietnamese specialized laws. Then the author compares those with the reality of infringement of private rights of victims under 18 years of age and brings out some recommendations
