Abstract

In teaching, in order to achieve high efficiency, it is necessary to use many active teaching methods, among which it is impossible not to mention the group discussion method. Group discussion gradually asserts its role in teaching when it is widely used in all subjects. The author has studied the theoretical basis of group discussion, pointed out the advantages and limitations of this method, and at the same time stated the current situation of using the group discussion method in teaching Economics and Law subject at the Foreign Language Specialized School, the University of Languages and International Studies, Hanoi National University. From there, the process of using the group discussion method was developed and illustrated in the subject of Economics and Law Education. The author also offers some solutions to improve the effectiveness of using group discussion method in teaching Economics and Law education at the Foreign Language Specialized School, the University of Languages and International Studies, Hanoi National University.
