Teaching Probability - Statistics following the Constructivist approach at Vietnam Maritime University
Abstract
For many years, countries around the world as well as our country have researched many new methods and theories to improve the quality of teaching and learning, including constructivist theory. Currently, this can be considered as one of the research directions that many people are interested in. There have been a number of domestic and foreign research works in this direction, but only focusing on high school students, not many works have been implemented for students, especially students of maritime majors. Therefore, the research on fostering knowledge-creation capacity for students in general and students of Vietnam Maritime University in particular through the process of teaching compulsory modules, including Probability - Statistics millet is very important and necessary.
