Abstract

When referring to important elements in musical art, people often refer to melody, harmony, rhythm... However, according to the method of exclusion in order to achieve the goal of minimalism, we can omit the melody. rhythm, harmonize and preserve each rhythm. The reason for doing so is because in many types of music, there is no melody, especially percussion instruments. In education, Music is a subject that nurtures and develops students’ souls, promoting their ability to learn. IQ development ability, capable of influencing many fun and learning activities of students. Therefore, teachers need to research and develop methods to train students’ musical skills, in which the practice of rhythm reading is a solid pillar to develop other musical skills. Rhythm contributes to making teaching easier and more professional. In particular, for elementary students, the object is just starting to learn and be familiar with the first concepts in music theory. Knowing how to use rhythm fluently makes the children’s musical ability much better, more confident in presenting their works. Many musical talents are revealed to be fostered and developed in a timely manner.. Since then, the teacher’s process of teaching a music lesson also becomes softer and more effective. Therefore, the introduction of some methods of rhythm training for elementary students is extremely necessary and practical to attract students in group activities, making the quality teaching process more effective.
