ABSTRACT
The issue of preserving and developing sustainable craft villages so as to ensure the rational use of
indigenous natural resources and income for workers, meeting the needs of the market and consumers is
a problem and requires a solution that integrates many interdisciplinary elements. Innovative and creative
ideas for chopsticks products made from indigenous resources from craft villages in Ca Mau Province with
the aim of improving the use value and initially orienting to expand the consumer market so as to keep
preserving the traditional culture of the Vietnamese people while meeting the needs of safety, convenience
and especially ensuring the livelihoods of people in craft villages based on a community-based natural
resource management approach.
