ABSTRACT
Besides being instructed and trained through theoretical periods in the class, the students of Thua
Thien Hue College of Education also have opportunities to practice teaching on children at the Practical
Kindergarten. This activity not only incorporates teaching theory and practice but also helps students
improve their skills after graduation. The activity of getting acquainted with literary works is characterized
by both scientific and artistic characteristics, which makes students face many difficulties. The article focuses
on building a number of measures to improve the effectiveness of teaching getting acquainted with literary
works through practice sessions and pedagogical practice.
