Solutions to improve self-study capacity of folk singing for Music Education students at University of Education - University of Da Nang

Abstract
An essential goal in education at the university level is self-study capicity because it enables students to distribute their study time, search for information, and accumulate knowledge. Self-study folk singing is extremely important for students majoring in Music Education at the University of Science and Education - The University of Da Nang. Therefore, the author surveyed and interviewed 90 students who have been studying the Folk Singing module. The survey results have clarified the situation of students’ self-study capicity in folk singing. Based on these findings, some solutions are suggested to enhance the students’ self-study capicity in folk singing.
