Advanced Mining Geomatic Technologies Serving Open-Pit Mining Operation in Vietnam

Abstract

Along with the development of open-pit mining operation, mining geomatic engineering have been on the go for years playing an important role in periods of designing, building, operating, closing and environmental monitoring. The application of modern geomatic technologies has been improving the efficiency of the management and operations in open-pit mines, reducing time, effort and safety. The article presents an overview of achievements in the application of modern geomatic technologies to the development of Vietnam's open-pit mining industry.
