Abstract

RadarInterferometry(InSAR)hasbeenknownasatechnologytomonitorthechangeofelementsontheearth'ssurfaceformanyyears.TherearemanyInSARmethods,inwhichthepermanentscatteringInSARRadar(PSInSAR)methodusesaseriesofimagestodeterminetheterraindeformetionsquitewell.However,forareaswithlotsofvegetation,thenumberofpermanentscatteringpoints(PSpoints)willbelimited.Inthispaper,wehavechosenamethodthatalsousesasetofmulti-temporalRadarimagesbuthasthelowestspatialandtemporalimagebaselines,thismethodiscalledtheSmallBaselinesmethod(SBAS).WiththeALOSPalSARimagesseriesthatwascollectedfromAugust2007toNovember2010,manylandslidepointsintheareaofBatXatdistrict,LaoCaiprovincewerediscovered.ThelandslidelocationsdetectedfromRadarimageswerecomparedwiththelandslidesurveyingpointsandlandslideinterpretedbyaerialphotosin2013providedbyVietnamInstituteofGeosciencesandMineralResourcesVietnam.Therehavebeenmanyslidingsitescoinsidingwiththesurveyedlandslides,whichprovesthatmanylandslidesexistanddevelopcontinuouslysuchasthelocationofMongSen
