Abstract
Despitehighprofits,theminingprocessoftenleadstonegativeeffectsonthequalityofgroundwateraroundtheminingsite.Duetothecloserelationshipbetweentheconcentrationofwaterqualityparametersandspectralreflectancevaluesofsurfacewatẻ,opticalremotesensingimagehasbeenusedeffectivelyintheworldinassessingandmonitoringsurfacewaterquality.ThispaperpresentstheresultsofdeterminingsomesurfacewaterqualityparametersintheTanRaibauxiteminingarea(LamDongprovince)suchasturbidity,water-transparency(Secchidepth),andsurfacetemperaturefromSentinel-2AandLandsat8imagestakenonJanuary29,2019.TheresultsobtainedinthisstudyshowthattheminingprocesshasagreatinfluenceonthesurfacewaterqualityinTanRai(LamDong),reflectedinallthreewaterqualityparameterssuchasturbidity,Secchidepth,andwatertemperature
