High technology model for stabilized water quality in spray shrimp farming system in Phu Yen
Abstract
Aquaculture is an industry that brings about great economic values, contributing to improving people's lives and increasing income. Currently, aquaculture in Phu Yen is extremely rich and diverse, compatible with available natural environmental conditions. Among them, there are popular and high-value seafood species such as white-leg shrimp that are sold on the market at very high economic values. White-leg shrimps are adapted to suitable environmental characteristics and unpolluted water quality. However, climate change and environmental pollution have made the natural farming difficult, risky, and ineffective. To help farmers overcome such risks and improve economic efficiency, while not discharging the wastes that pollute the environment, this project researches and applies high technology to automatically control and stabilize the white-leg shrimp farming environment in Phu Yen.
