Application of Multiple Intelligences Theory in teaching natural and social subjects following competence-based development orientation for primary school students

Abstract

This article provides an overview of Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences and how to apply it to innovate the teaching methods for Nature and Society subjects in primary schools in the direction of competence development for primary-school students. From the application process and criteria for assessing student competence following the Theory of Multiple Intelligences in the subject of Social and Natural Science, the authors have built an illustrative lesson plan to help teachers and pedagogical students have a clear understanding of how to apply this theory in innovating teaching methods to improve the quality of primary school teaching today.
