Information dissemination and propaganda on the sovereignty of Vietnam over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagoes - some experience practices from Da Nang City

Abstract

Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagoes are the inseparable parts of Viet Nam territory. The sovereignty of Viet Nam over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagoes is in full accordance with the international laws and supported by numerous legal and historical evidences. The State of Viet Nam has always been proactive in protecting its rights and titles against any intentions and actions that violate Viet Nam’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and rights in Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagoes. Viet Nam’s consistent policy is to settle disputed prolems in the East Sea through the peaceful means based on the international laws, particularly the UNCLOS. From the practices of Da Nang City, the article proposes some experience in the work of information and propaganda, struggling to protect Vietnam's sovereignty over the Paracels and Spratlys.
