OMMUNITY FOREST MANAGEMENT OF M'NONG PEOPLE IN KRONG NO DISTRICT, DAK NONG PROVINCE: CURRENT SITUATION AND SOLUTIONS

Abstract

ased on traditional experience and community opinion, community forest
management is aimed to enhance the capacity and the cooperation in terms of sharing
experiences with the community and involved groups. This activity is expected to
sustainably manage resources and improve the living conditions of ethnic minorities in the
forest. The article uses qualitative research method and provides an overview about the
current situation of community forest management of M'nong people in Krong No district,
Dak Nong province. Accordingly, we also propose some solutions for effectively managing
local community forest resources in the future
